You can no longer survive in this World if you don’t think about your future relations with others.
This world is all about people and relations among them. It’s necessary to show to the youngsters today that future depends on their minds, and they should be open, tolerant and understanding.
These ideas have become a motto of an academic project organized by the University of the Basque Country and Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics.
This is the second year of the project, but it proves to deliver terrific results.
Last year students of both institutions prepared small videos about general stereotypes associated with their home countries. It was a great success. “Such projects help to develop cultural understanding of modern students. The project was a success and I was simply surprised by some of the stereotypes identified by my students, because I didn’t think that they had such in their minds” – says the founder of the project in Russia Dr. Dimitrii Enygin, professeur from Plekhanov Russian University of Economy. Together with his colleague from UPH-UPV they organized the event in both countries having general goal to make the students understand necessity of preserving their national cultures and befriending others.
