Information About the National Law Institute University Of Bhopal:-

The National Law Institute of Bhopal University (NLIU) was founded in 1997. It is one of India’s well-developed development institutions offering various courses such as LLM / Law / LLB / M.Phil etc. first three law schools established under the system of the faculty of national law. Approved by the Council of the Bar Association of India (BCI), this institute offers courses with BA.LLB (with distinction), LLM, PhD and MSc
(cyberlaw and information security), as well as courses,  sanctioned or not sanctioned by the Law of competition, comparative jurisprudence, international commercial arbitration, global terrorism, cybernetic law, law and economics, maritime law, etc. Admission to BA LLB is based on the common law admission test. (CLAT). The academic year at the university is divided into three semesters (quarters). Dedicated to the use of modern teaching and assessment methods, university courses at NLIU are carefully planned and performed. The university’s extracurricular activities are regulated and supervised by various committees. These committees are led by students led by a teacher. These committees have their work codes and students have the freedom to formulate them. The Moot Court Association facilitates advocacy activities on campus. Jus Cultura is a literary society that discusses and questions society and the resolution and resolution of cell disputes. Eligibility Criteria for NLIU Admission:-

Students with at least 55% of the 10 + 2 or equivalent are admitted. In the case of SC / ST / OBC, the minimum eligibility percentage is 45%. The age limit for admission is 21 years. For the reserved categories, a relaxation of the two-year age limit is allowed.

NLIU Admission Entrance Examination 2020:-

The admission test normally takes place on the third Sunday of May. The exact date will be communicated through the official
admission notice. The admission test level is 10 + 2. The test will include questions related to English, analytical reasoning, verbal reasoning, legal reasoning, legal skills and general knowledge.

NLIU Course Structure:-

The National Law Institute University offers a 5-year integrated academic program, BA LLB (Hons.). There are 80 places for this course. 50% of places are reserved for students from Madhya Pradesh and the rest for students from all over India.
In total, 63 compulsory subjects are offered to students (credits and non-credits). Of the 17 proposed seminar theses, students must select 10 for their optional specializations. Feminist jurisprudence, the law on health, the affirmative law, the law on
information technology and the spatial law are among the proposed articles.

Teaching Methodology:

NLIU teachers use an interdisciplinary approach to teach students to prevent their minds from being limited by the formal logic of law and its divergence from practical life. Students learn to apply the theory they learned in textbooks to real social problems, so they are prepared for the practical use of the law. Learning consists of a combination
of textbooks, classroom courses, discussions, seminars and research projects. 75% of participation is required if students wish to take their final BA LLB exam. The minimum success rate for each exam is 50% or grade C. Each course has 4 credits unless
otherwise indicated.

College infrastructure:-

The NLIU campus is located on the side of a hill. The new campus complex has been designed to minimize the environmental impact of the land, creating a mix of modern architecture and natural landscapes. The new guest house is ready, as is the
faculty block, which is already in use. The new library with language labs and computer lab is nearing completion and will soon be operational.

Libraries – The University has a 12,000 volume reference library, which contains more than 9000 books and covers 44 legal topics. A large number of books and newspapers come from the personal library of the late Professor TVS Satyamurthy. The
High Court of Deputies will soon make a great donation to important magazines. The new library building will be centrally air-conditioned and will soon work.

IT infrastructure – Students have access to 40 computers connected to the Internet in the computer lab to work online and offline. The purpose of the computer courses offered is to enable students to master computer languages, the use of the
Internet and basic computer applications. The library subscribes to www.lexusnexus.com and www.scoonline.com. Grand Jurix is also available for students.

Career opportunities:-

Recruitment – is managed by an internship coordination committee (PUC) composed of students and composed of representatives of the group last year. PCC is actively supported by the university administration. Although the PCB is mainly responsible for
the network, the administration assists by providing infrastructure and equipment, as well as inviting prospective employers to participate in the recruitment process. The first group of 25 graduate students in 2003 completed a 100% internship.

The main recruiters involved are Amarchand Mangaldas (Delhi and Mumbai), Jyoti Sagar & Assoc. (JSA), Bajpai & Co., Data Access, Holla & Holla & Patel & Nettar, Exim Bank, Singh & Singh Advocates (New Delhi) and Enviro-Legal Defense Firm (ELDF).
Some students who have not started practising the law are pursuing higher education.

Internship – The University plans two internship periods, between January and May-June, allowing students to gain experience through practical training while working with law firms, lawyers and private legal organizations. Companies offering internships
include Amarchand Mangaldas, Dua Associates, JSA, ARA Law, and Luthra and Luthra. Coca-Cola, Reliance Infocom, and Bharati Telecom are other companies that offer internships. Some students are also on probation with judges of the Supreme Court and high courts.

Life in Campus Hostel:-

There are two houses, one for boys and one for girls. Admission is based strictly on the merit of the admission test.
They are within walking distance of the university block. The city is also very accessible and public transport is regularly available. The university provides students with buses to and from the city.

Services – Each hostel has a common room, an indoor games room and a TV room. The two hostels have 155 single rooms with a bed,
a desk/computer and two closets (small and large). Each wing has six bedrooms, a balcony, and a shared bathroom. Students have access to STD and PCO facilities in each hostel. The hostels also have adequate security facilities.

Pasticcio – There are a casino and a dining room in each inn. These are supervised by the institution’s guardians and the student messenger committee. The mess menu is changed periodically and food provisions are subcontracted each year.

Discipline – residents of inns must follow the rules established by the University. A guard is appointed to manage each inn. There is also a “home committee”, a “discipline committee” and a “mess committee” in every home. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in serious measures, such as the suspension/notification of the reception center/classes, the payment of fines, the presentation of written commitments or any other prescribed sanction. by the University authorities.

NLIU Bhopal admission process 2020:-

You can go to college through the common law admission test (CLAT) conducted by the CLAT committee set up for this purpose.
They can be applied through their level exam.
To apply, all the eligibility criteria defined in the guidelines for admission must be met.

Eligibility for the age limit program:-

For U.G.- The candidate will be considered eligible for the CLAT if he has passed the 12th exam with a minimum score of 45% (40% for SC / ST candidates).
Aspirants taking part in the 12th exam in March / April will also be able to benefit from the CLAT 2018. These candidates must demonstrate that they have passed the qualifying exam at the time of admission. No higher age limit for the UG program in CLAT 2018.

For P.G.- The qualification prescribed for LL.M. is LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.) / Any other equivalent examination. The minimum percentage of votes for the qualifying exam should be 55% for people without restrictions / OBC / especially capable (SAP). In the case of SC / ST, the minimum score would be 50%. The candidate for the April / May 2018 qualifying exam can also apply. No age limit prescribed for PG
