South Point High School was founded in 1958. It was the first mixed school in the city to be affiliated with the Council of Bengal Secondary Education. Currently, the school has nearly 13,500 students, 325 teachers, and 225 non-teachers Staff. South Point School has a kindergarten, transition, and grades I through V. Students then study at South Point High School. Classes VI to X of the West Bengal Secondary Education Council. Subsequently, most pointers continue their studies in grades XI and XII of the West Bengal Council for upper secondary education.

South Point High School Documentation Need For Admission:-

A child born between 01.04.2016 and 31.03.2017 is eligible for admission to Nursery I, and a child born between 01.04.2015 and 31.03.2016 is eligible for admission to Nursery II.
It is compulsory that registration for admission be done online through the school website between July 8, 2019, and July 16, 2019, against a payment of 500/- through the payment gateway provided on the school website. Payment can be made either using a credit card, debit card or through net banking option given on the payment gateway. After successful payment of the registration fees, the School Prospectus will be emailed to the registered email id of the parent and will also be made available in downloadable form in the parent’s account.

South Point School Kolkata KG ADMISSION 2020-2021:-

Kindergarten I, Kindergarten II and transition:
The minimum age for admission to kindergarten I, kindergarten II and the transition is 3 years, 4 years and 5 years, respectively. The general public is informed through advertisements/notices in newspapers/bulletin board/school website at the beginning of the admission process. Registration forms for kindergartens I and II are available online on the school’s website and the amount is set for approximately 10 days in June / July. Students’ registration forms are available online at the school’s website in January. The school lists the candidates according to its criteria and the parents of these selected children will have to come to school with their departments to interact with the principal.

Classes I to V: In December, a notice of admission of classes I to V is presented based on vacancies. Registration forms are available online in January. After receiving the registration forms, a computer-generated random selection is made for the available places.

Class VI and more: Students enroll in South Point High School from Class VI and continue to Class X. However, admission to Class XI is based solely on merit. Due to restrictions, the School can not admit all of its students in upper secondary grades. Therefore, an important condition of admission to South Point School is that it has no guarantees, After completing the high school exam, the student will automatically earn a place at South Point High School for upper secondary school. Two months’ notice must be given if a student is to be removed from school. Admission tests are also organized for classes VI to VIII only if there are vacancies. The newsletter and the transfer certificate is required in the original of the previous school.

Class XI: All students who cancel South High School Exam / Madhyamik Pariksha can not automatically sign up for class XI because places are limited in the Plus-Two section.
